Impact

In Cuba, documenting abuse does not guarantee it will stop, but it does prevent it from being denied. Every case we accompany, every action we bring before international bodies, adds to a record the authorities cannot ignore . We work to press for an end to these cruel and inhuman acts.

In Action

International Accountability

Following the enforced disappearance of six Cubans detained by the authorities, we turned to the United Nations to demand the Cuban State disclose their whereabouts.

Cross-Border Protection

We presented evidence before the IACHR on transnational repression in Cuba, Nicaragua, and Venezuela, and called for coordinated regional responses.

Historic Representation

We supported the election of Rosa María Payá as IACHR Commissioner before the OAS, a historic milestone for Cuban civil society.

Our Methodology

We document We monitor social media, independent outlets, and direct reports across Cuba's 16 provinces. Every verified incident builds a record the authorities cannot deny.

We defend We accompany victims and their families with free legal counsel and build accessible tools so every Cuban can exercise and defend their rights.

We advocate We bring the evidence before the UN, the IACHR, and the OAS, so that what we document reaches those with the power to act.
